Normally, the cloud forest above Vilcabamba is literally covered by clouds. However, in the middle of January 2010, Ecuador was experiencing drought conditions. The clouds were high in the late afternoon, creating this dramatic light.

Pittsburgh Landing
Pittsburgh Landing offers the only access point into the Snake River canyon known as Hells Canyon. It is reached by traveling Hwy 95 in Idaho, and then turning west between White Bird and Riggins. The road climbs steeply and then drops steeply.
